Where to find Pokémon in Ardersier

Like many places the Pokémon craze has swept through The Highlands and Ardersier is no exception. Is has to be said that nearby Nairn and Inverness offer Pokémon officiandos a more rewarding experience but there are still a few bits on offer in Ardersier.

Pokestops

• The two metal Dolphins on the road into Ardersier
• There are another four or five at Fort George
• There is one gym at the bus stop near The Gun Lodge on the High Street

Interesting Pokémon

• Farming and Foresty (the tractor garage) is a Jigglypuff spawning site.
• The Dolphin Bay appartments is excellent for Gastly
• The whole village is good for the water loving Pokémon

Dolphins in Ardersier, Inverness

Ardersier is one of the best places to see the resident pod of dolphins that frequent the Inner Moray Firth. The summer of 2016 has been one of the liveliest for Dolphins at Chanonry Point which can be seen easily from Ardersier. Another really great place to see the Dolphins is at Fort George.

In late June, Dolphins have been frequently seen travelling past Fort George at around 1-2 hours after low tide. Indeed any time on a rising time seems to be productive.
